The Best Looking TV I have watched
I am a display guy, I worked in a research lab perfecting the flat display we all have in our home today. This display is amazing. With its infinite contrast ratio the blacks are black as coal and the whites knock your eyes out. When I first powered on the display I saw line defects and said "OH No! this will have to be returned" but in 24 hours the circuitry detected the defects and corrected them. Amazing. OLED is the best and the LG does it better than anyone.

This is the gold standard 4K TV
Inky blacks, bright whites with good peak brightness, perfect viewing angles (the description was not kidding about that), fantastic HDR performance, good input/output, very nice included remote control, and good screen size options, although one more smaller size around 42" would give an option for smaller spaces. This is a no-brainer for anyone who has a good UHD Blu-ray player and library of 4K movies. Worth every penny!

5th LG OLED in 10 years -- and the best ... so far
I bought my first LG OLED TV in 2015 (F9500 65-inch), and over the next 10 years, have purchased 4 more including this one (all still in use), so have a pretty good sense of these beasts (which also explains why these are the only TVs we own). This 77-inch G4 replaced our 2019 E9 series glass 65-inch in the living room and I am amazed how much things have changed in the last 5 years: The colors are brighter and more saturated, the TV is thinner and flush-mountable (woo hoo!), and the WebOS (which we really never use) and other system settings are much improved.Pairing this with a new Sonos Arc Ultra and era 300 surrounds has made a major difference and we are finally getting the real deal with both Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision (we stream via an Apple TV 4k device and use Zeskit X-Tech 4k/8k 48Gbps Ultra High Speed HDMI cables).I won't go into preferred settings and all of the technical arcana available online, but even out of the box, this puppy was ready to go.The wall-mounting was a 3-person job ( could have been done with 2, but it weighs 95 pounds!) and after I had installed the included wall mount directly to 12-inch-spaced wall studs, and run all cables through the correct channels on the backside (taping them all down and inside the carved out spaces because they were prone to wandering out due to gravity) it was ready to lift, attach, and snap pleasingly into place! As a side note, we have never had any burn-in with any of the LG OLED's we own, but there is a new setting in this one that can obliterate burn-in pixel-by-pixel should that occur (we simply avoid 24-hour "news" channels hat have fixed chyrons).Overall, this is a beautiful TV that hangs like a piece of art (which it may very well be).The only downside was figuring out how to dispose of the copious (yet necessary) yards of styrofoam and cardboard packaging (we were able to fit half in the week's garbage bin pickup and then refilled it with he remainder and ran our bin across the street for when the truck came back around on that side of the street--score!).

Remarkable
The set was received in perfect condition delivered with care by Amazon and is simply a remarkable piece of technology. You will not find this model in a big box store. Its processor with artificial intelligence remain the differentiator. The separation between black and white is impeccably precise. I would not hesitate to buy this from Amazon and I tip my hat to LG engineers for producing one of the best TVs in the 77 inch class available in the marketplace.p

BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT ELECTRONICS EXPRESS, LG, AND AMAZON.
I received a defective unit from ELECTRONICS EXPRESS that has a slight hump in the screen that isn't noticeable when watching it, and LG claims it's damaged, but it's something inside pushing out slightly, so it's the manufacturers defect and yet they will not fix it unless I pay for it. The really messed up thing is that I talked to them within the 30 day return window to make sure the serial number was in warranty/valid, and they said it was, now suddenly after the 30 day return window, they have invalidated my serial number. WOW. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER TV FROM LG AND YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER. ESPECIALLY NOT ON AMAZON OR FROM ELECTRONICS EXPRESS. All of us affected by this need to try a class action lawsuit bc this is FRAUD..

Most amazing with small quirks (Overall Amazing)
First of all, I would say it was definitely an expensive purchase but also kind of worth it in my case or maybe I’m just saying that to make myself feel good but any way I bought it for gaming, to use this with my PS5 and mu lounge is super lit with really bright sunlight for the whole day for which this TV checks all the boxes. The picture is top notch, I’ve personally never seen any other TV with such a good image quality and clarity. The colors and contrast is just perfect and also the picture modes make it so easy to view for different scenarios. It is a bit heavy but I only faced that issue when I was mounting it on the stand and I never had to touch it again.Cons:Now some of the cons which are not that big of a deal but are there. The sound quality is pretty average and if you’re spending so much money you definitely expect it to be better than average but I’m using bluetooth speakers with it so it’s not affecting me. The second con is the UI, it’s not sleek or minimal at all and there’s just so much going on which I don’t like but I’ve gotten used to it with time.Overall it’s not hard to use or setup, the functionality is not bad but a bit much some times. Should you buy it? Depends if you have the spare cash laying around then sure but I would say to wait at least till the newer version of this comes out and this will be much cheaper to buy then and will definitely be worth the money.
