Another quality product from Jabra!
I bought my last Jabra speaker/mic in 2019. The thing was a workhorse. It never had issues, it just worked. Unfortunately, during an update a few months ago, it died on me. So I decided to try this one as an upgrade (bluetooth on this one, my previous only had a wired connection). After a few months, this one is just as good as my last. It took a little bit to set up correctly as my PC didn't want to recognize it (though, that very well may have been an issue with my computer). But since then, it has been flawless. Again, IT JUST WORKS. No having to figure things out. No having to worry about whether it will connect. I just works all the time. If this one lasts 6 years like the last, I'll have zero compaints.

Works great
It is a great little conference speaker with a compact form factor and clear sound. I am on the phone all day, and this little device reduces the ear pain I get from wearing a headset all day long. The device is easy to set up with WebEx (mute sync works, so you can mute from the app or device), the quality of the sound is great, and the mic works flawlessly. I tested the mic with recordings and peers, and they can barely tell that I am on a speaker phone. I tried the Jabra Speak 500 UC first, and while the devices are very comparable, there was a bit of an echo on the 500, which was gone once I switched to Speak2. I also notice the lack of duplex on the 500, which while not critical, can become a bit annoying at times. In short, the improvements from UC500 to Speak2 55 definitely justified the extra $50 I had to pay.

Volume up/down controls overall system volume instead of Jabra's volume
The problem with this new Jabra Speak 55 is that when I use the volume up/down it controls the system sound instead of the sound flowing through the Jabra device. So, if I have music playing on my speakers (at a low volume) and I connect to a Zoom meeting, then I can no longer adjust the volume of the Jabra device independently and it changes the system sound playing the music. My older Jabra Speak 510 worked perfectly for this. I am going back to my old 510 until a firmware can be pushed out to fix this issue.

Sound stops working
DO NOT BUY. The sound stopped working a little after a month of using it. Now I need to constantly restart it to get it to work. It’s obviously past the return the window at this point. Waste of money.

Great quality and performance with one little bothersome characteristic
Great speaker/mic. Bought it to replace a lower priced model of the same brand (which was also quite good). I give it a 4 rather than 5 because my only complaint is that the bluetooth just randomly turns back on and that takes precedence over the USB connectivity. If you're a multi-laptop user like me who employs a docking station the bluetooth connectivity isn't an option.

Essential product for remote work
If you are working remote and you spend any time at all on the phone or in video conferences, you need this product. It has perfect sound clarity, the mics are sensitive, and voices are easier to hear and understand. The battery charge lasts a long time, so you can use this on the go. Make sure you practice with it before using it in a work application, because the buttons are a little hard to figure out the first time you use it. Great product. Bought two more of these for my kids.
