GREAT MEMORIES
I took a ride down memory lane with Fred, Daphne, Shaggy, Velma and Scooby Doo. Watching this show as a kid was just fun entertainment and that has not changed. The complete set is worth the purchase because there were so many celebrities who contributed to the success of this show with their fantastic voice acting. Also, the characters and how they relate to one another makes so much sense all these years later. Hanna-Barbera always succeeded at providing quality animated family entertainment and Scooby Doo Where Are You? is a cornerstone of their product.

Excellent, Compact Set
This is a fantastic set loaded with Special Features. The listing actually made me hesitant to upgrade from the DVD sets because on the back it only listed 4 bonus features, but there is way more than that included, I believe on Disc 4.As far as the picture quality goes, this is probably the best that these episodes will ever look. Let's face it, a 50 year old, 2-D, Hannah-Barbara cartoon can only be upgraded quality-wise so far. But they look great and it's so satisfying to have all of the episodes, plus a bevy of bonus features in one compact Set. The Mystery Machine DVD Set and the Haunted House BluRay set look cool, but they take up more space than is necessary. This compact HD set is the way to go. Excellent release by Warner Bros. Now all we need is Complete Series BluRay releases of A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, Scooby-Doo & Scrappy Doo and What's New Scooby-Doo.

(Blu ray) Good visual quality, but 4 discs
It's scooby doo, just as you remember, but quality in visual fidelity is improved. It's not fuzzy anymore.Audio is good. The only con is that it comes in 4 discs (blu ray version).I would much prefer a single disc because that means I don't have to keep swithing out discs.I don't know if this is a technological limitation when it comes to blu ray, but I thought blu rays were capable of holding much more data than dvd.But I'm not a tech expert, so I have no idea.

Complete Original Series in High Defintion
This set contains all 41 original "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!" episodes on 4 discs (Blu-Ray version). It has all 17 episodes from Season 1 (1969) and all 8 episodes from Season 2 (1970) that were broadcast on CBS. In 1978 the series was revived on ABC (as part of the The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour) and this set also includes those 16 episodes (which are sometimes referred to as Season 3).The quality of the picture is very good and all episodes are presented in their original aspect ratio of 4:3 (1.33:1), which is exactly how these old TV shows should be shown. Discs are single layer, audio is Dolby Digital Stereo (AC3) with a bitrate of 192 kb/s, video format is Advanced Video Codec (AVC) with an overall bitrate of about 12 Mb/s. All episodes have subtitles (SDH) that can be turned on or off.

Classic 60’s era TV! Great fun for kids of all ages.
The animation, colors, music, characters, and stories are as good as I remembered it, but there is a laugh track, which I wouldn’t have noticed as a kid. I’ve grown weary of shows with laugh tracks to signal when something is supposed to be funny, which is why I only give Scooby 4 stars, instead of 5.In addition to the 25 episodes of seasons 1 and 2 of the “Scooby Doo, Where Are You!” show from 1969-1970, this set also contains three discs with 16 episodes of the “The Scooby Doo Show” from the late 70’s, which they call season 3. All of the discs are in one oversize plastic snap case. The music of season 3 is different and not as good as the music of the original show, and the episodes of season 3 aren’t as good as the original 60’s version show, but still, the extra 16 episodes are a nice bonus since I only expected to get the 25 episodes of the original show.Scooby is a great addition to my disc collection, which is quite large, although I own less than ten animated shows. I prefer live action TV series over most animated shows. The following animated TV series made the cut. They are all unique, fun shows. The Jetsons (1962-1963), Jonny Quest (1964-1965), Scooby Doo, Where are You! (1969-1970), The Flintstones (1960-1966), Cowboy Bebop (1998-1999), 3-2-1 Penguins! (2006-2008), and Steins;gate (2011).I’ve wanted to add Planetes (2003-2004) to my collection for years, but I’ve never been able to find the complete series on region 1 Blu-ray or DVD for a reasonable price. I was able to buy both the Blu-ray and DVD discs for Steins;gate at a low price. All of the Blu-ray and DVD discs came in the same Blu-ray plastic snap case. Brilliant. I wish I could buy all series in both Blu-ray and DVD with the discs all in one Blu-ray plastic snap case like my Steins;gate package came in. A 5 star show in a 5 star Blu-ray/DVD combo pack.I’ve considered buying some of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection volumes but I watched so many of them as a kid I just don’t have a burning desire to see them again.Miles From Tomorrowland (aka Mission Force One) started off as a fun adventure show with a great theme song and a high IMDb rating (8+) in 2015 when I first watched the show, like Final Space (2018-) enjoys now. Then the ratings plummeted as the show went on, and then Disney changed the name to Mission Force One to really muck things up. I might buy the show if Disney ever releases a complete collection of the series at a reasonable price with the original name (Miles From Tomorrowland) on the Blu-ray or DVD package. One of the dozen or so Supernatural (2005- ) episodes I’ve watched was the ScoobyNatural episode, season 13, episode 16. Good classic Scooby Doo Fun!

Great For The Whole Family
I loved waking up on a Saturday morning as a kid, and watching all the cartoons, but I always really enjoyed Scooby-Doo. It was a fun cartoon, but also had the mystery and a little scary made it exciting. Now, I get to share something similar with my kids. They actually like this more than a lot of the new cartoons out today. This is fun for the whole family, and has help to start a nice tradition with my kids. That is just a great thing.
