Pleased; have the right tools for assembly
I’ve been using these for about four months for bench work and squats. They suit my purposes fine and I’m pleased with the value. While they rock a bit when re-racking heavy weight, I have not found it necessary to do any additional stabilization even with 225+ on the bench or squat. That said, you have to control the weight and can’t just throw the bar into the rack like at a gym.I like the versatility of having individual stands you can move freely, and they store nicely in my garage. In terms of construction, they appear to me to be more than sturdy enough for all but the heaviest lifters. Caveat to that is the safety arms are a bit of a joke in the fact that they are about 3 inches long. I have not dropped a heavy load on them and don’t plan to.A note on assembly. Some reviews have said it’s difficult to assemble. It’s not complicated, but some angles are awkward and the fittings are tight. You’ll save yourself a lot of time if you have the right tool(s). The bolts and nuts are large (1/2” if I recall). If you just use wrenches to tighten everything down, it could take you hours. Get yourself an appropriate sized socket or two (a few bucks) and a ratcheting wrench or driver and you will have this done in 30 minutes max.

Great product. Met all my needs
Very happy with the quality of metal and finish. No sharp edges or blemish in paint. Seems quite sturdy. Took roughly 30 minutes from unboxing to finish. Instructions were straight forward. I think I could have built this just fine even if instructions were missing. All braces fit together well, and holes lined up and perfectly.Only tools needed: 17mm socket and wrench.

A good product, but...
On the positive side, the stands are economical and easy to assemble. On the negative, they are easily jostled and moved out of position when trying to place the bar back on the stands. You need to add other items (sand bags, weight plates, etc.) to stabilize them or find a way to join the two stands together so they can't move independently of each other. I don't regret buying the stands, but wish I had know this before purchasing.

Great product
Love these! I wanted a barbell rack without it being huge and stationary and this works great for my space. I I need to move them it isn’t a big hassle at all. Sturdy and do not wobble at all. Assembly took a while but wasn’t difficult. I would buy these again if I needed to. The picture isn’t the greatest since it is a screenshot of a video but that’s what it looks like set up.

3 stars because of Assembly
Quickest and most ideal way to get the bolts tightened are with two of the same socket sizes. One on a drill and one on a ratchet, like in the picture. Use the drill to tighten the bolt while the socket holds the nut. The torque needed to tighten these are way too strong for a person's wrist. Be careful when you get to the end of tightening, certain drills can be so strong it can damage your wrist, go little by little until fully tightened then stop. The fact that there's no tools for the average person to assemble this is wild to me. Shame on companies that do that. However if you can get the right tools, it can be done. It seems sturdy. I'll be seeing how it works in the future.

Great for home gym!
Perfect for my basement home gym. Assembly was pretty easy with a 17mm deep socket and 17 mm open end wrench. You can use adjustable wrenches, it will take a little longer. It took longer to beat the plastic end caps on the feet than anything else.I have used it for both back squats and bench press. I am 5’ 11” and 185 lbs. I have the bench and squat racks set to the max height. I don’t think the squats would as well work for anyone over 6’ or for guys with bigger chests for bench press

Assembly is a pain in the rack
Updated on 05/23/25: I removed 1 of the 2 stars because this may be the worst thing I have ever had to assemble in my life. The juice is not worth the squeeze.I am giving this 2 stars because although I think once it is together, it will be a good product, the assembly is ridiculous. It isnt difficult, overall, but it is a little time consuming. Not to mention impossible without tools, which are not provided or even noted in the instructions! If you are not handy, you will feel a little lost. I knew I needed a drill with a 17 mm socket, and a socket wrench to do this. It cannot be done with just a wrench, its too difficult. This information would have been extremely helpful to know ahead of time, instead of unboxing everything to build it and having to figure it out, including trying different sizes to find the right fit.Not a loss, because as I said, I think it will be good once its built. But definitely easier options out there.
