Started Smoking
Started smoking when I plugged it in, so I moved it outside to a power strip away from the house and plugged it in again. All seemed well. I attached my battery, not charging. I think the initial plug-in messed it up.I sent the first one back and got a replacement, and the replacement did the exact same thing. I am trying to charge a 7.2v battery for my alarm system, and I do not think this charger is compatible. Sending this charger back too!

I'm sure it works fine but it doesn't fit the 8 cell Panasonic batteries that I need to charge

Lots of charging capabilities!
With all of the different charging adapters on this unit, it really provides all the charging capability for its voltage range. For the price you really can't go wrong and is Simply Built for great ease of use. I checked for any overheating issues or warming of wires and could find none with this setup. It worked very well and is reasonably durably built and put together. I would recommend it.
