🔩 Unlock Efficiency with Every Turn!
The GEARWRENCH 12 Pt. Ratcheting Combination Wrench (1-5/16") is engineered for precision and durability, featuring a 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism that requires only a 5° swing to move fasteners, making it ideal for tight spaces. Its off-corner loading design enhances grip while reducing fastener rounding, and the size is conveniently stamped on both ends for quick identification. Made from high-quality alloy steel, this wrench promises strength and longevity for all your mechanical needs.

Great Tools that hold up.

Expensive for a single wrench
It’s fairly durable I just hate paying so much for 1 wrench alone. I feel like the pricing on gear wrenches are way overboard but when you’ve got to have them for jobs manufacturers know they can charge it.

Excellent!
This is so convenient and efficient to use instead of using my 3/4" drive 1-5//16" socket with a 3/4" x 1/2" adapter for my 1/2" drive ratchet. I use this tool a lot for tightening bolt up flanges. It's long enough and strong enough to give me enough leverage to provide adequate torque on the bolts. This is also a much safer tool to use than my standard ratchet with socket and adapter. Often the work space did not accommodate using a large 3/4" drive ratchet. So when using a 1/2" drive ratchet with the large socket and adapter, sometimes the socket would slip off the the bolt or nut when I applied a lot of torque because this ratchet-socket setup was extending a few inches off the flange face at a 90 degree angle. Great way to bust knuckles or slip and fall over if you weren't correctly positioned. The GearWrench allows you to apply the torque force more directly, efficiently and safer.I have other GearWrench ratcheting wrenches and they are winners! I highly recommend GearWrenches as a definite addition to your standard socket and open end box wrenches.

One of these broke right away; however, it appears GearWrench has a lifetime warranty so I intend on testing it in the near future. I need to go through and find all of my other broken GearWrenches first, though.

The best quality hand tool.
I was doubtful about using a ratcheting box end wrench when I first saw them but no more. I had used a standard length gearhead wrench on some stubborn, 14 year old suspension nuts, with a cheater fully expecting to either bend the wrench, break the ratcheting mechanism or torque the bolt off. Well, I had to buy new U bolts anyway. The wrench performed perfectly and has ever since. I bought this wrench for my Saginaw steering box and again, with a four foot cheater, has performed flawlessly for the job. I expect to pass this tool down to my grand kids.

5 degree swing makes tight spots more manageable
I bought this to turn the nut in the kd harmonic balancer installation kit. http://www.amazon.com/KD-Tools-Harmonic-Balancer-Installer/dp/B00C3JDGA2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1423531775&sr=8-1&keywords=kd+harmonic+balancer+installer I used a 33mm(33mm very close to 1 5/16-its slightly smaller) sunex wrench to turn nut to press on harmonic balancer on a chevy lumina. The 30 degrees , 12 pt wrench, i had to work with was barely adequate in the cramped lumina wheelwell i was working in to install harmonic balancer(crankshaft pulley). The 5 degrees the gearwrench offers will make future jobs more manageable.

The right tool for the job; or, You Can Never Have Too Many Tools...
This wrench is reasonably well made, notwithstanding the ubiquitous "Made in China" label. Well finished, positive ratcheting action and slender enough to fit in those tight spots. The 5 degree ratchet feature is invaluable in tight spots. I bought this wrench for a very specific task: removing the drive sprocket nut on a Case skidloader. The area is accessible mostly by fingertips and this wrench just saved me at least 1/2 hour of wrenching. Not too mention no beat up knuckles or scratched arms! Money well spent!

The wrench looks and feels good but two of the three wrenches we have bought have had the drive gear come apart. The gear retaining ring seems to let go too easily. We have put them back together again and they are working. For how long... only time will tell. Our application for these wrenches are to bar over our industrial gas engines. The torque load to turn them over is low so they shouldn't have failed.

Good value until it breaks
The ratcheting mechanism fell apart after a few uses and now it is just a regular wrench.
