I'm very happy with the strength of the magnet. I have a Samsung Note 9, and it holds just fine, even in a case and while driving over bumpy roads. The one drawback is that the clamps on the mount are shallow and somewhat far apart, so it won't fit vents that are narrow or set deeper into the dash. I couldn't get it to mount anywhere in my Vette but at least it fits perfectly in my husband's truck. If I can find one just like it that will work in the Corvette, I'll buy it.

This phone holder looks and feels beefy and fits perfectly in my car. The location of my vent was designed just right for this since there is nothing beneath the vent that the phone will block once attached. I didn't place the adhesive magnets in the center of my phone but rather towards the top. I did this because I also have a Wi-Fi charger that the magnets could interfere with. So even though the phone is being held only on the top portion and is somewhat off balance a little, the strength of the phone holder is strong enough to hold this through some rough driving and speed bumps. This was an excellent buy for me and hope this review helps.

Great and powerful magnets! But something I didn’t know- the big rectangular magnet block Qi wireless charging if it’s in the middle of your phone. It does work if the rectangular plate is at the bottom of the phone, so that’s a plus at least. I don’t know how well it will sit on the magnetic mount, but it solves my problem.I haven’t tried to use the small round metal plate, will update soon

I have a 2014 Mustang and my wife has a 2014 Acura TL. This mount is incredibly solid and I wish we could use it, but my dash has edges that jut out a bit just above and below the vents, and hers are flat but at an angle, so the phone cannot make contact with the magnets securely. A real shame because this is an excellent design.It sits flush with the vent, very hidden. Made a very secure connection as well.

The media could not be loaded.  After trying out various car mount, from the dash mount to windshield mount and other air vent mount, I found this bar style magnetic vent mount to be the best. It come with a couple types of metal plates, I just slide the metal rectangle plate between my phone and its case, The magnet is powerful. My Phone isn't going anywhere or falling off. The best part about this mount is that it doesn’t block the vent

I am pleased with purchase. This magnetic phone holder is much sturdier than the previous one I had. My one suggestion for improvement would be to extend the "arms" of the holder out further to help more air get between the phone and the vent to avoid the phone getting too warm when the heat is on. Overall, I am glad I bought this.

Overall I really like this mount. The magnets are a lot stronger than expected - which is a great thing. The mount fits perfectly into my BMW's air vents. The only tiny bit of feedback would be to have it have some form of adjustment - the mount has the phone facing slightly up due to how the vents are angled.

It serves its purpose. Magnet is pretty strong to hold the cellphone (i have the xs max which is pretty large). The only problem is, it blocks the air vent. Anyway i can stick this to other than the air vent??? Thats a hassle.
