PhanteksDigital RGB LED Starter Kit - Customisable RGB Lighting Kit for PC Cases with Remote Control

Product met my expectations and transformed my PC into a lively looking machine. There are better kits out there, but for double or triple price of this one.Quite easy to fix and simple to run. I would recommend it to anybody honestly, really happy with the purchase.Only one thing they could think of are longer cables, but apart from that, no complaints.

With all the rgb stuff requiring 4 pin motherboard connecter this gives you the control to do it without any software that needs specific motherboard, it comes with 2 magnetic strips which are handy that I changed the position a few times already, phanteks also has halo fans which are good to make your old white fans into rgb. Overall good kit at a premium price

The whole A/D-RGB non standardisation is a mess.Phanteks LEDs but you need a second cable (supplied) to connect with the hub in this kit (phanteks propriatey pins to standard pins)As far as hubs go it's fairly pathetic - whilst each port on the hub can support up to 4 (linked) LED (devices) the hub itself can only support a maximum of 7 devices - as per the card inside the box.This listing doesn't tell you how many devices it supports and Phanteks own website states it supports 9 devices.The hub only has an output of 7 Amps and their Halo Lux fan shrouds use 1 Amp each - which . I suspect hub predated the (higher Ampage) Halo Shrouds and rather than update their website they hid the number of devices supported within the card within the packaging.Overall seems like a good way to damage their own devices. The hub is sata powered why have the product designed to such low Ampage???

Comes with a good amount of stuff for $50 CAD. The controller functions more like a powered argb splitter when plugged directly to a 3-pin mobo header. The strips themselves are great: flexible, durable, magnetic, and dense. They however aren't that bright. As for the connectors. Not 5 stars becuase Phanteks uses their own proprietary bs connectors for the controller. The argb strips themselves use JST SM 3-pin argb connectors, so it's possible to connect them directly to your mobo 3rd party adapters.

The media could not be loaded.  Wanted something to control the RGB of my case via manual controller, did not want to have anything plugged into MB or deal with any software.This 100% does the job.Magnetics 100% work on my case, no issues, They are not extremely strong, but they do the job and hold the light strips in place.All cables are long and easy to get to the hub. I have a fractal design meshify 2 xl, its a rather large case, I had no issues with cable management or set up.The RGB controller is small, simple, and works well. The cable length is to the point you can have this anywhere you need in or out of the case. The cable is slim and connector is slim. I have it shooting out the back of the case, through one the airflow holes. Mounted on the backside of the case out of sight, via included double sided sticky tape.The lights themselves are bright. I paired the 2 included strips with the Phanteks NEON Digital-RGB LED Strip Combo Set (PH-NELEDKT_CMBO) – 2X 400mm Smooth Lighting Strips.Overall. I wanted to be able to see everything easily on the inside of my case. I wanted good looking RGB strips and to be able to control them without having to use software. Phanteks succeed in everything that I needed.

Tolles Produkt, mein Mainboard ist alt und kann keine LED‘s ansteuern, über diesen Controller geht es nun.Anleitung ist vorhanden und verständlich, aber das Produkt ist auch selbst erklärend.Das einzige was man brauch um die LED‘s über den Controller zu steuern ist ein freier SATA Stecker. Nun zum Produkt selber;+Die LEDs sehen sehr hochwertig aus+Die LEDs sind hell aber blenden nicht+Tausende von Farbkombis+magnetisch und Klebstreifen als BefestigungEine negative Sache gibt es allerdings schon:Es sind zwar Verlängerungskabel Kabel für die LED- Striped bei, nur leider nicht genug.

These thick lighting tubes are gorgeous. The next step in RGB lighting. There is nothing like these around. Don't get those old ARGB light strips. This creates a uniform image and it's absolutely breathtaking.

I originally just wanted the LUX Digital Fan Halos, but I called Phanteks and their amazing customer support said I needed this kit to use it. Their customer support was amazing and helpful. This purchase was great, easy to set up. The ONLY complaint I have is the physical controller they include. If you don't have an RGB header you must use the physical controller, and that thing is POORLY made. It breaks apart easy, and inside is just a tiny computer chip with 3 buttons. It feels flimsy and doesn't match the rest of the great build quality parts. They should have made it ~$15 more overall for this kit and just made a bluetooth receiver and include a wireless remote.
