Handpresso Pump White 48257 Portable and manual espresso machine for ESE pods or ground coffee

This was a replacement for a Handpresso that I had bought over 8 years ago. They make great coffee for around 20p or less a cup compared to the £2 plus that the high street brands charge this really shows how much you're being ripped off for your daily shot of caffeine.I own two of these, one for the office and one for camping, basically if you've got access to a kettle you're sorted.My current favourite coffee for these are Pure Gusto Costa Rican, a great cup of coffee to start the day.The Handpresso isn't cheap but is well made and with care will last you a long time. I would think that my previous one had made in excess of 4,500 cups of coffee at a run rate of around 100 cups made every two months (I do sometimes make coffee for other people too). So you should be pretty safe that this will pay for itself pretty quickly.People always ask what it is and are interested in how the coffee is made as the Handpresso itself does look a tad strange.Couldn't recommended this enough though, buy one you won't regret it. ......

broke after few usage but as I had not used it right away and left it on side for a long time, ran out of warranty.Avoid it as it stops working and not able to hold pressure after a while

Pretty good product, it makes tasty coffee, but quite small espresso at a time. Pumping it up takes some force.

Surprisingly amazing bit of kit. I had done a lot of research about this and took the plunge. It is fairly expensive but I've had some great espresso and seems to be well made. I'm even considering selling my machine at home and just using this!It's all about the prep, prime the water reservoir and your espresso mug. One you've pressurized the handpresso added your hot water and chosen coffee tip upside down and let the water infuse with the coffee. Press the button and enjoy.

Ohne allzu hohe Erwartungen für Hotelaufenthalte gekauft, um einen trinkbaren Espresso zubereiten zu können. Die ersten Tests ergaben einen überraschend guten, kräftigen und heißen Espresso, allerdings ohne nennenswerte Crema.Die Handhabung ist absolut simpel, die Handpresso macht einen stabilen Eindruck und liegt gut in der Hand. Benutzt habe ich Espresso Pads (Borbone ROSSA Espresso Pads), mit der Wassermenge kann man etwas spielen. Das befürchtete Spritzen beim Zubereiten und Säubern der Maschine blieb aus - einfach Druck ablassen, öffnen, Pad entsorgen und einmal ausspülen - fertig für die nächste Tasse.Achtung: nur die E S E Pads passen, die bei uns üblichen Kaffeepads für Senseo und Co nicht.Absolute KaufempfehlungUpdate:Mit jedem Esspresso wirds besser - als Tipp: Nach dem Einfüllen des Wassers ein paar Sekunden warten, bevor man mit der Zubereitung startet, dann wird die Crema besser

El café sale bueno de la manera más simple posible. Apenas ocupa espacio, fácil de lavar y hasta poca electricidad.

L'ho sempre usata ne ero felicissimo, l'ho consigliata ad un sacco di gente che come me per mestiere viaggia molto.Fino a ieri quando all'improvviso mi è scoppiata tra le mani. Per fortuna ho subito solo dei tagli non profondi ma ho sfiorato la tragedia, la tazza che avevo in mano è scoppiata anche essa in mille pezzi, alcuni mi hanno colpito su gli occhiali, che porto sempre per fortuna altrimenti non voglio pensare cosa poteva succedermi. Oltre alla paura e la rabbia, sono triste perché davvero era una ottima compagna di viaggio.Comunque non penso sia un articolo da lasciare in commercio, dovrebbe avere un meccanismo che impedisca questi episodi.
