Great little device to use as a bridge for CCTV system so that I do not have to have wires going through floors and along walls etc. very easy to install and set up.Not only can it be used as a bridge put it can also be used to boost wifi signals. For example my bathroom is in a wifi hot spot from my main hub, but I can connect it to the bridge and it gives the wifi a boost (as it mimics the network) so I no longer have the hot spot.Would highly recommend to people. Very easy to install. I am a beginner with this type of product and I had it up and running within half an hour!!

Item works great once it’s set up.Once you go to set up screen look for the top left logon boxes. Password etc given.Then was straight forward to set up….. appeared more complex than it was.

Look, I live in Britain, and my network card had to be removed, as was having problems. Could fit another network card, cause would mean reinstalling all software etc. however, externet cable worked in the house, but not on the road/travelling hacking up to hotel wifis etc., where there was no externet source. This works perfectly. However, you do need to keep rebooting with little button on it whenever disconnecting. Only a small sacrifice, but works works works. The usb simply sources its power from your laptop. The Wi-Fi signal gets picked up by a simple web browsing control panel. Dead easy! , and then gets sent down the externet cable. In shirt it works, and with mobile hotspot etc. and Wi-Fi everywhere, what more do you need!

Used this to enable a Wi-Fi connection to a free view box that only had an Ethernet connection. This worked fine for just over just over a month but then started intermittently dropping the Wi-Fi signal until eventually was continually happening. None of the other devices suffered fro this drop out, only that one device connected via the adapter. I can’t recommend this product.

Good value, but it doesn't seem to quite work as described in the paperwork. If I try to set it up as an ethernet-wifi bridge, it doesn't come back after scanning for my router! I think that I need to connect it via a wired connection to set it up. Three stars on the basis that this can be resolved, but it hasn't worked "out of the box".

I am very impressed by this item. I had no trouble setting it up and have not needed to use the reset button.I am not an IT expert, just a relatively savvy home user. I have not needed any technical support. It worked, for me, straight away.As a bridge I think it performs very well.Demanding users may be disappointed by its repeating performance. It is working for me, but is rather slow, probably because I need to have it installed in a poor signal area. I needed it to provide a signal for WiFi to my smart phone. It works well enough for email and WA. The PC connected to it with ethernet cable for setting up and testing had a fast connection.I am powering it from a USB charger plug. (Please be aware that the USB connection is for power only.)Set up is done via an ethernet cable and a computer browser. Once set up it has a new IP address on the local network. To change any settings you connect to it at the new address.The most basic and reliable way to find its new IP address is to connect to your network router (or hub) and look for it in the list of all connected devices. (If all else fails, use the reset button and start over, from the very beginning.)

Very difficult to set up. Instructions very poor.Takes for ever to find my printer over the Wi-Fi.Blew up my laptop with back feeding too high voltage via the usb. My laptop is not working and looks like an expensive repair or replacement.Instructions should warn again back feeding via usb.
