Bright light and pretty handy

Very very very nice set of pliers. Just got them today haven't got to use them yet but feels really nice and you can tell it's quality made. $35 for pliers is kind of high but I think it was worth it. Oh yeah the line cutters cut 40 pound braid no problem

Wow. These pliers are great. The pouch worked good to hold mine to me because normally I have the lanyard just swinging on my side.The pliers itself feel very durable. I only have used them once but I am impressed. The flashlight worked ok (I used it in the cabin because it was very bright out.)Overall the pliers worked great.

These pliers are great! Took them out last night to fish around the dam and the built in led flashlight came in handy. The light is very bright and I had no issues seeing out there. I also used the wire/line cutter to cut the fluorocarbon leader I tied on and it snipped it perfectly. I didn't get to use these pliers to dehook any large fish but it worked great on the few smalls I caught! Popped the treble hooks right out. The aluminum finish and overall quality of this set of pliers is A-1! I don't really need any other tools with me with these in my pocket.

Big fish season is upon me, I am about to head out to the Caribbean for 2 weeks intensive fishing, , dark mornings and dark nights are prime time for predator fishing so I was delighted to see a set of pliers with a bright led torch attached..I have bought from MadBite before and I was not disappointed at all.Close up the quality of the aluminium casting, the screw heads, jaw alignment, handle shapes, all reveal a very high level of detail applied to the manufacturing process and the final quality of the product.A sharp cutting blade for monofilament line and braid, narrow nose for deep hook removal ( while keeping your hands out of the business end of the fish's mouth) a nice couple of loop holes in the handles to attach a lanyard, a solid spring mechanism.The torch head is small and unobtrusive and has a simple rotate on and off by twisting mechanism, the beam lines up right to the end of the pliers( well designed indeed)The coating finish is even and crisp.In summary these are not cheap and the quality shines through ( a bit of a trade mark of Mad Bite tackle , everything is very well made by them )Super bit of kit, I really do love them, looking forward now to putting them to excellent use in a few weeks time
