It works amazingly well and is powerful in just the lowest setting. Yes I know people say the ps5 doesn't need extra cooling etc but I call bs on that. For one the intake fan is on the top which unless you live in vacuum or clean it everyday dust will build up and restrict airflow. The intake fan also isn't in my opinion that strong. Bottom line this product makes a huge difference in keeping your ps5 cool and doesn't take away connectors and it's easy to install and use. The only con is that it's loud and fans are powerful? I personally don't care since the game noise drowns it out and I rather have a noisy fan than an overheating ps5 which diminishes it's longevity.

The fitment on this cooler is excellent. It went on tightly and the USB lined up and plugged in.The fans work, I can feel warm air coming out. I will say they are on the louder side especially on high. But when I think when I have the sound turned up, it won't be an issue.The blue LEDs are bright, wish it could be turned off. But, the ps5 will be in an entertainment center horizontally, so I am hoping I won't hear the fans as much and the brightness will be muted inside it.Time shall tell how robust it is and lasts!

Purchasing this at a nice price of $20 was worth my money since it works well at what its supposed to do. Fans were kind of noisy but I could live with it, and the LEDs were a nice touch, reminds me of my PC. It was also easy and fast to install.Unfortunately, like a previous review, my only reason for giving a 4 star as opposed to 5 star is that the fans do not shut off whenever you put the console on rest mode to charge your controllers. I was greatly surprised that the fans even came back on when I tried to turn them off ahead of time before putting the console into standby mode. Still, it is a great product and a nice add-on to cooling, so I just simply had to wait a couple minutes until the console completely goes into rest mode and then shut them off. This means I can't run off to do errands and have to sit and wait until it is finished doing its business before running out of the house.

I wanted this because the location of my PS5 is kinda of blocked in and it does not get good enough air flow behind it. I figured this would give it enough air movement to help the internal fans and keep the air moving back and around the unit. It has been doing a great job!Before adding this item, after playing for a while you could feel the back of the PS5 and the cables below the exhaust being pretty warm. This was a concern because I did not want these connections moving or failing. After adding this fan attachment the cables and connections are no longer warm. It has kept the temps at the rear of the unit down and I don't have to worry about it anymore.It is definitely a nicety to have the USB port on there. I do have things plugged into both ports for a USB drive and for my headset, so the fact that I didn't have to lose the port was a plus. Since I am using a wireless headset that requires a USB dongle that is what I plug into the back of this fan unit. Have not had any troubles with that port or my headset so we are good there. Not sure I would trust my external drive hooked into that port just because, but I'm sure it would be fine as well.My only gripe is the fan noise. Guess I could always replace the small fans with other nicer ones, but I don't think it matters that much. It kinda melts into the background after a while so I will deal with it. The overall functionality of the unit is what I was more concerned about, and it does the job.

This is my 2nd one. 1st one started breaking down after a year. Upon start up is whinned really loud. Don't like it only lasted a year hopefully this on last longer. Either way my PS still runs great so a once a year purchase, so far, isn't bad.

i like it because it keeps my ps5 cool and has cool lights and does its job, but sometimes it feels like it’s too loud. when i press the off button, it randomly turns on anyway so i feel like there’s no point for the button being there. i usually have to unplug it to turn it off and that kind of defeats the purpose of it being on it

This is the 2nd one I've bought... I have one for me another for my son... it's a great little fan and quiet

This seemed like a great thing an looks good right out of the box. Easy to install and has a pass through usb so ur not losing 1 in the back of the console. Like the 3 speed settings. However I purchased 3 of these for my fiance myself and son. After about a week or two of using it it now rattles around makes a ton of noise and the first day glaring fit is gone. The light vibration makes it tap between the back of the console. Turning it down to medium helped for a day or two then down to low and now it rattles no matter what. On my fiancés ps5 it somehow made the console work to hard or something because it started randomly shutting off in the middle of games. Even went as far as saying ok maybe it’s a power supply issue and replaced the cord and everything else. Know it was the only thing new since trying all that an it still happening we removed it and it hasn’t happened again. Poorly designed but def functional. It does pull plenty of heat when u first get it an still will but….. only if u can get lucky an it doesn’t shut your stuff down constantly. Or…… u can deal with how loud an annoying the tapping rubbing bouncing of the improper fit.

Works great, quick and simple install, much easier than replacing the internal fan (which had stopped).

He tenido mi PS5 desde que salió, y llevaba unos 2 meses que a veces se apagaba sola mientras jugaba algún juego de PS5 (no con los de PS4).Descubrí que se debía al sobrecalentamiento; quité las cubiertas y la limpié (no estaba muy sucia).Siempre he tenido un sensor térmico en la salida de aire, como una curiosidad nada más. Y he notado que el aire al jugar juegos de PS4 sale a no mas de 47°C pero con los de PS5 puede subir hasta a 60°C y es ahí que si esa temperatura no baja por más de 10 minutos la consola se apaga para evitar daño irreversible.Con este pequeño aditamento y la limpieza el sensor ha mostrado una mejoría palpable; en juegos de PS5 la temperatura ya no ha pasado de 54°C y cuando sube hasta ahí pronto comienza a bajar y suele estabilizar en 51°C lo que es muy bueno para la consola.El ventilador más grande está justo en el centro lo que ayuda mucho porque la gran parte del calor va a los radiadores que están donde se conectan los cables y poner un ventilador ahí no es viable, pero el grande al estar cerca remueve el calor de los radiadores centrales y el cobre rápido mueve más calor hacia ellos ayudando indirectamente a los de abajo y los de las conexiones.El ruido es similar al de una PS4 sin estar jugando, o sea que se oye pero no es demasiado intrusivo.Debes apagarlo manualmente cuando pones tu PS5 en rest mode porque si no se quedará encendido 3 horas que es el tiempo que la so sola energiza los puertos. Al suspender la consola debes esperar 1 minuto para apagarlo, porque si lo apagas enseguida, después de 1 minuto cuando la consola finalmente está en reposo reinicia los puertos USB y al llegar de nuevo la corriente se encenderá por sí sólo. Así que debes esperar 1 minuto y entonces aoagarlo manualmente para que ahora sí se quede bien apagado.

I've tested it running Farming Simulator 22 as I find this Is a very demanding game for the ps5 and after using this fan for a few months I've found it really does help removed hot air faster from the system and I'd say this was a good purchase. However after the couple months of using when I first fire up my PS5 and the fan kicks on, the fan sounds really rough and like it's broken but after 20 seconds of warming up it functions like it was new.
