Not as good as you'd expect from a Bosch
This dishwasher is fine. It does the job. But don’t buy it expecting the best experience just because it is a Bosch, as several odd design decisions negatively effect the user experience:1. The buttons are spongy and feel cheap, with poor feedback.2. The buttons are not very responsive. There is often a slight delay after pressing a button for it to register. e.g., press the on button, then the delay button 5 times, and usually you’ll see it catching up with your button presses, and sometimes it will miss the last press.3. The cutlery basket handle has narrow grooves in the underside which end up holding water. So when you lift the basket out and take it over to your drawer, your hand is now wet, and you have to dry it to avoid getting wet finger marks all over the clean cutlery when you put it away.4. The filter is a poor design, as bits of food get trapped around the top of the fine filter, where it connects to the top filter. So it is always dirtier than it needs to be.5. While you can tell it to use the “EfficientDry” setting (that adjusts the drying stage and opens the door at the end) for every programme, you can’t tell it to use the standard drying stage but still open the door at the end. I’d like to try this, as I’ve not been getting as good drying results as on my old Beko.So what’s good?1. I can fit my tall wine glasses in the top rack and large dinner plates in the bottom (Unlike in dishwashers with a cutlery drawer).2. It already has the runner wheels for the cutlery drawer, so if you change your mind you can buy the parts for about £60 and have a drawer instead of a basket.3. I found being able to check its status and adjust settings via an app more useful than expected. However, the feature that tells you how much energy it’s used only does so based on the predicted energy use of each programme rather than the actual energy used. So as programmes such as “Auto” often vary, the total energy used is likely inaccurate.

Not as big as it seems
This Bosch was bought to replace my old Zanussi (which was a better machine). It has some odd and very annoying quirks, the most annoying of which is the fact that in the horizontal position the door springs up violently if there are no cutlery, plates etc to weigh down the bottom rack. Which moron thought this was a good idea baffles me??Also the instruction booklet does not contain enough information that is only in the quick start guide. The different programmes all take hours to finish except for one programme and that is still 1 hr 5 mins, my Zanussi had a very effective 30 min programme. The layout for putting bowls and stuff on the top rack is also annoying with none of the prongs seemingly able to take bowls in an upright position, instead everything is wonky. Finally for a machine sold in 2024 the cleaning power just isn't that good. My advice : avoid.
