worked great. For wide tables we used the a wash cloth beneath the card tray. Then slided the tray to the other side of the table.

We are using it and love it. Most versatile card holder. Use for more than Canasta.

This was a little tipsy but it's ok I have purchased others in the past which have been sturdier
