The photo under the picture is a loose piece of paper. I'd only get these again if your kid is old enough to do the puzzle without the picture of what it looks like. We used rubber cement to adhere the loose sheet to the wood for now. The pieces also fit very tightly, so my toddler isn't able to snap them together easily (or take them back apart alone) even though he knows where the piece is supposed to fit.

Love the wooden puzzles. This set has the picture on the storage tray to help them find the right place to put the puzzle piece. To me it's makes the puzzle harder to do. It's hard to see once you put the pieces in, to see where the next one goes. I like it better without the picture on the bottom. But if you want the picture on the bottom, this is the puzzle to buy.

I love that the pieces are wood, not cardboard. I also like that the pieces go on top of the picture, which is printed on the wood frame. This makes it much easier for my 3 year old to solve the puzzle and figure out what she's supposed to be doing. Love these puzzles! Great first "real" puzzle.

My 3 year old loves puzzles and I wanted to get her 24 piece puzzles because the 12 piece ones were getting too easy for her. We have 2 boxes of the Melissa and Doug Jigsaw Puzzles in a Box (12 piece) which she has pretty much memorized. These ROBUD puzzles were perfect because they are challenging but she can still complete them with minimal help. There's a removable sheet of paper with the image of the puzzle on it which makes it a lot easier when they are first learning. The pictures are colorful and fun and the pieces are the perfect size for my daughter. The wood is smooth and the pieces fit together nicely. Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase!

Check puzzle size. Product states for 4 yrs + but the pieces are really too small for 4 yr olds. I was looking for 60 piece puzzles and did not notice how small the finished puzzle is. Nothing inherently wrong with the puzzle just better for older children.

I bought several of these for my kids for Christmas, so they haven't played with them yet; but, they are super cute and seem to be very durable.

Exactly as described, our toddler loves see creatures and puzzles. This wooden puzzle board gets played with every day.
