Handy
Left to sit for a few hours these tabs make light work of toilet cleaning when contending with very hard water. Also have a very pleasant citrus fragrance.As they are so effective I generally only need to use one every 1-2 weeks so this good value pack will probably last the year out.

Great for removing limescsle
I’d tried everything to remove limescale stains from my toilet (I live in a very hard water area) but no amount of elbow grease or the many cleaners and home remedies I’d tried would get rid of it.These however did the job.. with no effort at all. Just drop one in the loo overnight and in the morning the bowl is clean. They do have a bit of an odd smell which lingers for a couple of days but it’s not unpleasant enough to put me off using them, particularly as they’re so effective.

Something that genuinely helps keep my loo clean
We live in a hard water area! Very hard! I have to use these on a very regular basis, so the offer of a bulk purchase box was very welcome at a time when prices are only going in one direction... UP.These are very effective, but I do leave the tabs do their work overnight if possible. Never been disappointed with the results. There are Lemon-scented versions too, but I'm not a great lover of that particular scent, so I stick with the original version. So important to keep the surfaces of the toilet bowl clean.

Effective on limescale and staining
Very effective, though I use two tablets and leave it overnight -- not sure how much good it does if you only leave it for ten minutes. Works well on limescale and associated staining.

Strong anti line scale cleaner for buildup in toilet bowl
I have recently switched from astonish tablets for cleaning my toilet bowls and found that these tablets dissolve faster and seem to have a more concentrated effect than my old product. I put the tablet in and leave overnight if I can or at least 3/4 hours then give the bowl especially around the waterline a good scrub with the toilet brush before flushing. This product has a similar potency to the Harpic line scale removing liquid but unfortunately dies not clean under the rim like the liquid but is really good at dealing with limes ale under and on the waterline.Please remember to never use any other products in the toilet bowl or cistern until you have performed 2 complete flushes after using these tablets. Chlorine based cleaners like bleach can release toxic, flammable gasses when combined.Also with these blocks use in the cistern should be avoided as the liquid is quite caustic and will eat away at unglazed cistern tanks and potentially the flushing mechanism / ballcock as well.

Work amazingly well
Someone adult male dropped something DIY gluey/siliconey/fixativey down my loo which stuck to the bottom and turned a horrible germ ridden brown. It looked like a permanent skid mark. I cleaned my loo and scrubbed and scrubbed, and tried loads of different cleaners over the space of several months but it was still there in varying shades of brown according to the state of chemicals and bleaching!I was ready to accept my skid mark loo was now forever. Then I saw this.IT'S A MIRACLE! Blummin' amazing stuff, the skid mark was gone after one nights soak with one of these fizzy beauties.These tablets are great - if they can shift the sticky stuff that sat haunting me for months, they can shift anything!

Many of these tablets arrived wet and swollen in the wrappers, making them difficult to use. No idea if they are as effective like that. Won’t buy again.
