I LOVE this jewelry cleaner!! I had one years ago and it did not work as well as this one.It broke and I never bothered to replace it.My mother gave me some of her old jewelry,Too much to clean by hand, so I decided To invest. WOW! A little Dawn dish soap and water and everything sparkles as if it just came from a jewelers showcase.After cleaning my Mom's jewelry I started on my own. I didn't realize that my gold was tarnished, until it came out of this machine..I feel like I have an entire new collection of jewelry!!!This has been so much fun cleaning and enjoying all the things I got tired of wearing over the years. It's like they all have a new life! Works great on silver too!* please be sure not to place any pieces into this machine, that have stones set in pave, The machine is so powerful it will remove those baby stones.. I unfortunately made this mistake with one piece**Nonetheless I am overly impressed with this purchase... It really works!! Highly recommended!

I’m so impressed with this little gadget! I got my first pair of glasses a few weeks ago and one of the hardest things for me to get used to was how quickly they got dirty. I decided to try this cleaner even though I was skeptical of both the technology and the low price. I figured if it didn’t work I’d send it back. Well, it works! It’s so quick and easy, I never fret about my glasses being smudged unless I’m away from home. The most inconvenient thing about it is I don’t want it on my counter all the time (even though it is pretty small and the design isn’t bad) so I have to take it in and out of my cupboard. Not bad, right! Gets my glasses, rings, even the reservoir for my water pik nice and clean in a snap. Definitely reccommend.

Honestly, this is a bit toyish compared to a high end unit but it does work. For the big test, I tried a white gold, diamond ring that had a lot of intricate work that created lots of small crevices that was holding years of skin and body oils and after a 5 minute plus another 3 minute run the crud was still packed into the small crevices. It had removed some of it but really didn't do a good job. Afterwards, I did a quick scrub with a soft toothbrush and windex to that piece plus a couple other gold rings with diamonds and then placed them in the Ultrasonic with water and a little bit of windex. The cleaner was then able to remove the loosened crud and they came out sparkling and beautiful after a 5 minute cycle. I guess it depends on how dirty the piece of jewelery is but I'll be doing some quick prep work before using the machine if the piece I'm wanting to clean is really dirty. Even with doing a quick pre-scrub It does make cleaning a quicker, easier process. Also, as the instructions suggest, it does clean better without using the plastic basket. But, direct contact with the SS tub does scratch it up and could also scratch the piece that you are cleaning depending on what it is.So ... Just knocking off one star. I didn't expect miracles and didn't get one for $40. It's about what I expected. Cant speak for longevity yet but I consider it a worthwhile purchase.

At first I didn’t think it was working, but it was. I get the concept of how these work, but I didn’t expect it to work as well as it did with just soap and tap water.I was browsing reddit and saw people mentioning ultra sonic cleaners for cleaning vaporizing components. I was curious to give it a try. I’ve used it on a few things so far, only got pictures of one but it worked very well. It took a couple cycles and water/soap changes to get the item I cleaned spotless, but it was really dirty.I haven’t cleaned my wife’s wedding ring or anything yet, but I’d imagine it would work flawlessly.I’ve only used it a few times but if anything noteworthy pops up I’ll try to remember to add it to my review.Pros• Cleans very dirty items• No harsh chemicals neededCons• It makes a little noise that some might find annoying but it’s not horrible.

At first I love this! For an entire week my glasses and my retainer (braces) were not just sanitized but crystal clear. And I felt confident that due to a germ free toothbrush would not repopulate my mouth with bacteria. And then, alas, it’s simply stopped working. No, I did not miss read the directions, in fact I read them several times before are used it and out of fear of doing anything to cause this amazing cleaner to malfunction, I rechecked the directions frequently. In short, I did everything right. So… You can imagine how distraught I was – and to be honest still am – when it’s simply stopped working after a week. Yes, I plugged it into several plugs around the house in hopes that the one I was using was bad. And, I’ve plugged several contraptions into the original plug. Even though the lights on the Cleaner indicated that it was receiving power, all attempts to get it to work were futile. I even attempted to resuscitate it daily for a couple of weeks until I just gave up. I’m back to soaking my retainer and my toothbrush head in dish soap and resigning myself to less effective ways to keep my eyeglasses smudge fee! In short, I really did everything I could to give this once wonder machine a chance, Dismayed, I made no attempt to return it so Due to my lethargy I am out for whatever it cost. I truly hope my short-lived cleaner was a one-off. But to save anyone else from the fate of my once loved machine I give it an emphatic thumbs down.

Never knew an ultrasonic cleaner will do that much. I'm a watch fanatic, and I am very active and sweats a lot in summer. Which I always wash my watch after the day under water and sometimes with soap. Always thought its clean after that but after i got this cleaner, the first thing is clean both me and my wife's watches. Following the direction, using soap and clean twice in 5 then 1.5-2 mins, which to my surprise the water for my water came out dirty, not filthy but you can tell its been cleaned, and my wife's is a bit better but you can still tell its been cleaned by the color of the water afterwards. Overall, this is compact, budget and does its deed well, highly recommend it!

It does the job cleaning jewelry or coffee tools if you put only few things inside. Anything more that 3 things inside just won’t get cleaned. However, it’s a great small gift to keep at home for occasional use.
