I bought a dewalt dcf899 impact wrench and had heard stories about snapping things off so I bought this to accompany it as it's the correct torque for my Volvo wheel nutsYou need to put the torque setting on your wrench above the torque the stick is limited to, but not on the highest setting in my case as there would be a risk of snapping the t stick.It does work for limiting the torque. It's just a piece of spring steel designed to flex at a certain torque. Obviously will only work with impacts as it absorbs the shocks of the anvil blows. I like that it has a line painted down the length of it so that you see it stop moving when the bolt reaches torque. I wouldn't bother with a whole set but this is good for wheel bolts and will keep using it

This has made the hassle of taking the tyres off much easier, as there's no grunting and worrying with putting them back on!Obviously it only works with a torque gun (and shatter resistant sockets!) but if you have one and ever take the tyres off for anything other than if its flat, it is such a small price to pay for the peace of mind the bolts are not only tight enough, but not overtight.

I use this on all my wheels. Fast use of a windy gun with no risk of over tightening. I finish off with a torque wrench check but to be honest I am getting confident that is an unnecessary step.

Used nearly every day at work and seems quite accurate. I always check with a calibrated torque wrench after refitting wheels with this (as you should) and it’s spot on

Did what it was supposed to do. Or at least certainty near enough not to an issue. Very good simple bit of kit.

They work to limit the torque on my driver from 160nm down to in and around 120nm

IDEAL FOR MY USE WITH MY IMPACT DRIVER TO GET MY CAR WHEELS TO NEAR RIGHT TORQUE (140NM)

I was skeptical but this is pretty accurate, I use it to go slightly below the target torque before tightening with a torque wrench, make sure you use the impact on full power for it to be effective.
